Description
The villa, built in 2005, is situated in Le Clos De La Fontaine, a purpose built gated residence of 32 holiday villas around a private swimming pool with well established landscaping. It is situated some 800m from the South end of Valras-Plage beach (less than a 10 minute walk away), close enough to access all the amenities of the resort easily but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.
About 10 minutes from the A9 peage, Valras-Plage is an excellent base for exploring the Languedoc or simply relaxing.

Bedrooms
Two large bedrooms, one with King Size bed and one with two single beds sleeping four in total.

The villa has a spacious open plan style downstairs living area complete with sofa, side-board, dining table and chairs, English satellite TV (with BBC and ITV channels), DVD and CD Players (English DVDs available for hire locally – no membership required).
Kitchen
The kitchen, although small, is well equipped for your holiday with washing machine, dishwasher, combination micro-wave/grill/convection-oven, ceramic hob and fridge/freezer. Plenty of crockery and cutlery is provided, as are cooking utensils. The rear door opens onto the small rear garden which benefits from the evening sun.
Other rooms
The large shaded terrace, which overlooks the residents only swimming pool just 25m away, is reached through the patio doors from the living room.

Local activities
Valras-Plage is near Beziers on the Mediterranean coast about 20KM south west of Cap D’Agde. The resort of itself has a 4 Km sandy beach, patrolled by life guards during the main season, a harbour area, twice weekly market, many fine restaurants, bars and even a Casino. The town centre has the usual selection of shops, banks (with ATMs), a post-office and a tourist office which can give advice on local attractions and activities. The area is serviced by a large Hyper-U at Sérignan, just 4 minutes drive out of the town.
The villa makes an ideal base for relaxing, sampling local food and wine, exploring the old French towns and countryside of the Hérault and Aude regions or enjoying the many local activities. These range from sailing off the beach, horse riding and go-karting for the energetic amongst us, to relaxing walks by the nearby Canal du Midi and nature reserves.
Local activities: swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf, wind-surfing and mountain biking.

Valras-Plage is easily reached from a number of airports; Beziers, Montpellier, Perpignan, Carcassonne, Toulouse and Girona, served by the budget airlines (e.g. Ryanair and EasyJet) from the UK.
