The apartment is located in the 6th distric. The area is commonly referred to as the Budapest Broadway due to a dozen of theaters, the Opera House or the Operette Theater. The street is called Nagymezo utca, it is off from Andrassy Avenue between Oktogon square, Liszt Ferenc square and the Opera. The UNESCO World Heritage Andrassy Avenue is one of the prime high-street shopping areas of the city being also one of the most exciting parts of Budapest, filled with restaurants, bars, clubs such as B7, Moulin Rouge etc. From here most important attractions of the city can be reached easily. You can find the House of Parliament, all major museums, the castle district or the thermal baths within walking distance. The nearby area attracts turists and locals at the same time. There is access to excellent public transportation, with metro connection (Opera and Oktogon being the nearest stations), tram and trolley bus stops within two minutes from the apartment.
