Two double bedrooms, airy and modern.Main bedroom has tv,private balcony with sea “glimpses”(theres a hill in the way) outdoor tbistro table and 2 chairs,bathroom adjacent.2nd bedroom is adjacent to 2nd wc/cloakroom.Accommodation for 2 more in lounge,on 2 double sofa beds.All bed linen provided.Bedrooms are on first floor,lounge is on ground floor.

Situated next to main bedroom on first floor.Fixed head thermostatic shower over bath,shaving socket,large basin,wc.All towels provided.2nd wc and handbasin situated next to second bedroom.

At the front of the house,bright lounge with two 3-seater sofas which can convert into 2 more bed spaces.Digital tv,DVD,CD system and a small selection of films,board games etc.
Kitchen
Airy, high cielinged kitchen diner. Farmhouse table can seat 6. Dual fuel hob/oven,microwave,fridge,toaster,kettle,cafetiere,washing machine.Broadband Internet access point.

All bed linen,bath towels and tea towels are provided.The apartment is maintained and cleaned by the resident(upstairs)owners to highest standards.
Suitability
The road outside the house is short but steep as it slopes up from the sea.The whole town is similar not great for those with walking difficulties and no access to a car.

Ilfracombe has all the amenities a seaside resort could offer:cafes,crazy golf,etc but a lot more besides:Victorian Tunnels Beach,golf,horseriding,swimming pool ,2 cinemas,theatre,gym,museum,aquarium,Damien Hirsts bar & restaurant.Heritage harbour with day trips to Lundy Island,sea fishing trips etc.The fantastic beaches at Woolacombe(10 mins by car)Croyde and Saunton Sands for every variety of watersports.Combe Martin Wildlife Park(10 mins by car)for wolf watching.Exmoor National Park(20 mins by car)for walks,riding,remote country pubs etc.

By car leave the M5 at junction 27,follow A361 to Barnstaple and from there follow signs to Ilfracombe.On entering Ilfracombe on A361,at first set of traffic lights turn left towards ‘seafront’ continue along Wilder Road until you pass DILKHUSA GRAND HOTEL on your right,turn right immediately,between Dil Grand and church opposite.This is Avenue Road,Chadfield is no 8 ,second house from the top.Parking available outside.
